Work from Worship

Work should flow from Worship

Work should flow from Worship.

A. W. Tozer “The Purpose of Man”

I was reading the book “The Purpose of Man” by A. W. Tozer and this phrase struck me and still remains with me whenever I feel burdened by ministry, I remember these words and focus my heart on Jesus and worship Him.

Think of ministry as the child or children that are born from the union of a husband and a wife, so it must be with our calling and labor with the Lord. Intimacy with Jesus is what we pursue, knowing His heart and becoming like Him to the glory of our heavenly Father. The moment we touch the heart of Jesus, we receive a part of His heart, His will. Through continually praying and seeking the Lord’s face for understanding, this calling that we carry becomes weightier in our spirit.

We receive more understanding and direction, at the same time more is demanded from us. We need to press into the Lord with more prayer and fasting, seeking Him and drawing from Him as we possion ourselves to receive. This process continues until labor, everything changes and a time of intense pressure comes. This is both glorious and fearful.

Work should flow from Worship

All ministry must be born out of intimacy.

7  Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. 8  Who has heard such a thing? who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. 9  Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? says the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? says your God. 10  Rejoice with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all you that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all you that mourn for her: 11 That you may nurse, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that you may drink deeply, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
Isaiah 66:7-11

The Bride of Christ is being birthed in the Church today through the intercessors and worshipers.

My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you.
Galatians 4:19

Remember no amount of service or ministry can justify neglecting our Beloved Jesus.

It is our desire that we serve the body of Christ well and always lead you back to the simplicity of Loving Jesus.

Join our Bible Study Series as we look into the heart of our Bridegroom-God.
